Sesame Beginnings App Reviews

Boring and not worth the money

We love Sesame Street but I was so disappointed in this app. My son was very bored within minutes.

Improvement suggestions

This app could easily be improved. Why show us the whole Sesame Street "set" and then only play peekaboo behind the door? Go to the other locales. 1. Like the other peekaboo games, having different background settings /locations for each of the characters... Maybe Bert and Ernie are in the house, but why isnt big bird playing peekaboo in his nest? And Elmo by Hoopers store. 2. Having some more interactive bits. ie after Super Grover introduces that he has the helmet, you are then able to move Super Grovers helmet up and down when you tap it, etc. This would greatly add to the game.

dont waste your money

Ive never written a review before but felt compelled to warn people that this is totally worthless...what you see in the preview is it! Completely disappointing.

Fun app for younger kids!

My 17 month old loves this app! Its simple enough for her to use and she loves seeing her fave Sesame characters!

disappointed

Just like the other two reviews, which I should have listened to. It is disappointing. There isnt much to it besides the door knocking and opening to show different Sesame characters. It should be more interactive.

Peekaboo sesame street

Cute app! Please add more to this app. There is not much too it.

Crashes All the time

Can barely get through 4 characters without the app crashing. Have a 1 year old that loves opening the door - would be a good play experience if it didnt crash so much.

A New Classic

Abby and Elmo show up in PJs to say night night...what more can you ask? We purchased Peekaboo Barn when my daughter was 7 months and watched in amazement as she played it so young (as well as mastered iPad/iPhone before walking and talking). Now at 2 years old, shes a Sesame Street freak. This app is perfect for her. Are there apps out there that are more interactive? Perhaps. But it keeps her entertained because shes used to the "peekaboo" format. AND it includes Abby who is hard to find. Simple, effective...its up there with Good Night Moon in our daily routine. I love all the apps this company creates, cant wait to see what they come up with next!

Great stater app

My two nieces age 2.5 and 1.5 love to play this app together. Easy for them to play by themselves.

Fantastic!

So glad Sesame Street finally has an app for the youngest audience! My 2 year old is so excited each time she plays with this app....thanks!

Not what I thought. Regretting this purchase

Do not buy

Painfully boring for even a child, surprised Sesame Street would put its name on this app

Cute

My 2 year old loves peekaboo barn and has recently fallen in love with Sesame Street and "melmo". So an app that combined both was a must have! He enjoys it and loves that Oscar bangs from his trash can. I wish that more characters were included or more vocabulary words. For now, this app is sure to be used on a regular basis.

Disappointed

Got peekaboo Sesame Street. Was disappointed. Could have had a lot more educational content. Just add letters, numbers, and shapes or colors and it would be much better.

?????

This app was a little misleading. All my son does is tap on the door and characters answer and say their names or the name of an object. Do not buy if you are looking for interactive learning game. Wish I could get my money back.

regredt of purchasing the app

when i purchase an app, i expect more than just tapping the trash can and opening of the door and a character shows up. sesame street could have done better.

Peekaboo Sesame Street

Absolute waste of money!!!

Pretty boring

My 1 year old loves peek a boo, but like others have said, this app is pretty boring and there is nothing to it. Not worth taking up space on your device...

Lame

Very little content, lazy animation. Even $0.99 would be better spent elsewhere, let alone $2.99. Poor form, Sesame Street. So much for trusting your brand.

Love it for the little ones!

This is a great app for little kids who love the repetition -- 18 mo to 2.5, Id say. Not for the older kids! Love the looped mode!
